Chau surpassed 71 other candidates nationwide to win the title in the final round of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, which took place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7 on June 25.
She also won the Best Body award and the ecology and environment ambassador title.
Chau has a height of 1.74m and body measurements of 81-63-92.5cm, is a professional model who was crowned the winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2016, winning the title of Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018 and was crowned Miss Supranational Asia 2019.
Le Thao Nhi, a representative from Ho Chi Minh City, was named the first runner-up while Huynh Pham Thuy Tien, from Dong Thap Province, was the second runner-up.
The top five also included Le Hoang Phuong from KhanhHoa province and Nguyen Thi Huong Ly from Gia Lai province.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, the biennial national beauty pageant, will select the country’s representative for Miss Universe.
