The forum drew the participation of 46 mayors of cities around the world, leaders of organisations, businesses, and large economic groups of the world.
The World Cities Summit Mayors Forum is held annually in different countries. It is a multilateral conference that brings together many leaders of large and famous cities around the world.
The forum provides city representatives with a platform to exchange their policies and field experiences, as well as to collectively explore pathways toward fostering inclusive cities.
The participants discussed and exchanged goals, solutions, and efforts, to ensure the integration of each individual in society, with the aim of “leaving no one behind”, especially those in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the working delegation of Da Nang City leaders, led by Tran Phuoc Son, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, and representatives of leaders of the city's departments and branches, also participated in the Da Nang tourism promotion programme in Seoul, the RoK.
The programme was jointly organised by the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City and the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Offices, under the Vietnam National Tourism Administration in the RoK.

Speaking at the programme, Tran Phuoc Son emphasised that the RoK has always led the international tourist market to Da Nang and has continuously grown since 2015.
Da Nang City's tourism industry always focuses on promotional activities in the RoK, with the desire to bring Korean tourists new and quality experiences. In particular, the new policy on entry visas to Vietnam from August 15, 2023, will create easier and more convenient travel conditions for international tourists, including Koreans.
