He praised the idea for organising the event as the government and the business community are striving to achieve the double goals of containing the coronavirus and promoting economic recovery.

The Deputy PM noted that business culture can account for 20-30% of an enterprise’s performance, therefore a multi-faceted vision with goals determined based on their core values is needed.

He suggested encouraging the creation of shared values with humans as the decisive factor and building an open and technology-driven working environment as a means to make enterprises grow.

At the forum, representatives of large enterprises talked about the difficulties and challenges in a new economic situation, amid the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the business culture.

Vietnam currently has more than 800,000 active enterprises but most of them are small and medium-sized enterprises. The private sector plays an important role, contributing 42% of GDP and creating 50% of total jobs.
