On June 3, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang presented the title to the district at a ceremony, held by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province.
According to Chairwoman of Xuan Loc District People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Cat Tien, Xuan Loc District was recognised as a new-style rural area in 2014, and the district has made every effort to meet the standards set for advanced new-style rural area in 2023.
The district’s average income per capita reached over 90 million VND per year in 2023 while the average income per capita of the rural areas was over 83 million VND.
Acting Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Tan Duc, suggested the district maintain the title and strive to achieve the “model new-style rural area” title by the end of 2024.
