With the overarching theme “Viet Nam’s Private Sector: Institutional Breakthroughs – Public–Private Synergy”, the forum attracted experts, businesses, and entrepreneurs.
A key highlight of the forum was the discussion session “Mastering Digital Technology – Taking Ownership of the Green Economy”.
During the session, experts, businesses, and entrepreneurs deliberated frankly on the role of digital and green transformation in enhancing business competitiveness; the development of logistics, the marine economy, and digital infrastructure; the attraction of high-quality investment; human resource development; and solutions to improve the business and investment environment and promote innovation at the local level. They also directly exchanged views on and sought solutions to difficulties related to administrative reform, access to land and capital, digital transformation, logistics infrastructure development, high-quality human resource training, and support for businesses in implementing green transformation.
Experts, businesses, and entrepreneurs advanced a suite of solutions to accelerate institutional reform, develop digital infrastructure, improve the quality of human resources, strengthen public–private linkages, and build a business-centred innovation ecosystem.
Luu Cong Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association, asserted that for young businesses to grow, become competitive, and expand into broader markets, it remains imperative to strengthen linkages and share resources in order to build robust value chains together, enabling businesses in Quang Ninh to partner with enterprises from other provinces and cities across the country.
With its multidirectional, inclusive, and open dialogue mechanism, the 2026 Viet Nam Private Sector Economic Forum has definitively emerged as a bridge for the business and entrepreneur community to share views and contribute ideas towards the implementation of Resolution No. 68 and Resolution No. 57.
Opinions, recommendations, and initiatives articulated at the Quang Ninh provincial dialogue will be compiled, reviewed, and incorporated into the overall report of the 2026 Viet Nam Private Sector Economic Forum, which will be submitted to the regional-level dialogue sessions and the high-level session.
This will serve as a crucial foundation for proposing solutions, mechanisms, and policies to promote the role of the private sector, advance digital and green transformation, and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in the new era of development.
As part of the Local Dialogue Round of the 2026 Viet Nam Private Sector Economic Forum, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association, in coordination with the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association, orchestrated a series of trade promotion activities, including exhibitions showcasing products from leading businesses; business networking and the signing of 20 agreements on cooperation, product distribution, and promotion; and multi-platform sales through livestreaming on digital platforms.
The activities not only provided businesses with opportunities to promote their products, expand their partner networks, and seek business cooperation opportunities, but also facilitated their access to modern business methods and apply digital technology to marketing, sales, and market development.
