The event was jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee and the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) Central Committee within the framework of the Workers’ Month 2025.

It aimed to care for young people working in industrial parks and export processing zones, improve their cultural and spiritual life, and promote their physical health.

At the event, the organising committee presented 40 gift packages to young workers living in difficult situations in Nghe An Province.

Speaking at the festival, Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of HCYU Central Committee and Chair of the VYF Central Committee reported that currently, the total number of workers in Viet Nam is about more than 16 million, working in all economic sectors, industries, occupations, and fields of production, business, and services.

He stressed that young workers are a creative force in production and social life, quickly adapting to new mechanisms and rapidly accessing advanced science and modern technology, playing an important role in contributing to the country’s goal of double-digit economic growth in the near future.

He noted that festivals for young workers have been held across many regions nationwide since 2023, attracting the participation of over 60,000 young workers.

The 2025 festival is organised in the three provinces of Bac Giang, Dong Nai, and Nghe An under the theme ‘Young workers spread positive energy”.

The festival features various activities, including gift presentation, visits to historical and revolutionary sites, provision of medical examinations and health consultations, free medicine distribution, teambuilding activities, and sports competitions.
