The program was implemented by the Youth Union of Ha Noi Heart Hospital in coordination with the People's Committee of Dan Dien Commune and Viet Nam Electricity Transmission Company. Taking place on the occasion of War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers Day, July 27, the activity has a deep meaning of gratitude.

People coming for medical examination are provided with medical services such as general examination, abdominal ultrasound, electrocardiogram, in-depth cardiovascular consultation, and free medicine.

This is the first time that many elderly people and policy beneficiaries in this area have had direct access to a team of specialised cardiovascular doctors from the central level.

As representative of the local government, Pham Cong Phuoc, Vice Chairman of Dan Dien Commune, said: "This is a very meaningful program, not only helping people to receive healthcare but also a great recognition and encouragement for those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland."

Healthcare activities attracted the participation of many people, including the elderly and policy beneficiaries.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Sinh Hien shared his desire to contribute a small part in health care and gratitude to previous generations.

He emphasised that Hanoi Heart Hospital will continue to maintain humanitarian and social activities towards the community, especially for policy beneficiaries.

Not only stopping at professional activities, medical union members also visited, encouraged the spirit, and listened to the sharing of the uncles and aunts who had once devoted their youth to the country.

The simple but touching stories are the motivation for the young generation of the medical profession to understand, be grateful, and continue the journey of serving the community.
