Ha Noi expands parking facilities to better serve visitors to President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum

The Ha Noi Department of Construction has issued a notice designating additional parking areas to meet the needs of local people and international visitors to President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, while easing congestion and ensuring security and order in the surrounding area.

Accordingly, new parking locations have been opened to the public and international guests, including the grounds of the Ho Chi Minh Museum on Ngoc Ha Street; the Botanical Gardens; the Ngoc Ha slope parking site; the grounds of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on Hoang Dieu Road; designated spots along Yen Phu Road and Nghi Tam Road; the grounds of Quan Ngua Stadium on Van Cao Road; the Van Cao Road parking site; and nursery land at Lapho slope.

Ha Noi City Police have been tasked with developing plans to deploy forces to guide vehicles from pick-up and drop-off points to the car parks, intensifying patrols, and strictly handling violations or behaviours that compromise traffic safety in the area.

The reorganisation of traffic and the addition of car parks around President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum not only help alleviate congestion but also create favourable conditions for people nationwide and international friends to pay their respects to Uncle Ho and visit revolutionary sites in the capital’s centre, thereby enhancing Ha Noi’s tourism service quality.
