Speaking at the event, Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh praised recent improvements in environmental sanitation and the establishment of civilised lifestyles in Ha Noi thanks to vigorous involvement from the political system and capital residents.

He called on residents of the capital to join hands in protecting the environment, making environmental sanitation a daily routine, thereby building Ha Noi into a green, clean, beautiful, civilised, and modern city.

Previously, on July 24, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Ha Noi Party Committee issued Directive No. 44-CT/TU on strengthening leadership and guidance for environmental sanitation and urban order management in the city.

Each commune and ward in the city is required to establish an environmental and urban order steering committee to organise weekly clean-up activities and promote green movements.

Moreover, community environmental sanitation teams are to be formed within each residential area to motivate residents to maintain cleanliness in their living areas.
