The road is more than 76 kilometres long, passing through Ho Chi Minh City and three provinces in Vietnam’s southern key economic region: Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An.

The Ring Road 3 project is divided into eight component projects, which will be implemented with public funding, four of which concern site clearance and resettlement.

Chairpersons of Ho Chi Minh City and the three provinces have the authority to issue investment decisions on each component project.

In its resolution, the Government requires that the project must be carried out in compliance with laws, ensuring progress and quality, as well as strict management and efficient use of capital.

The Government also allows the implementation of various procedures regarding building materials and environmental impacts at the same time to accelerate the project.
