Ho Chi Minh City to set off firework displays at seven locations on National Reunification Day

Ho Chi Minh City plans to host firework displays at seven locations to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

The information was revealed at a press conference held by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports on March 6.

The locations include the Saigon River Tunnel in Thu Duc City, Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Site in Cu Chi District, Nga Ba Giong Martyrs Memorial Site in Hoc Mon District, Lang Le - Bau Co relic site in Binh Chanh District, Can Gio District’s football field, National Historical - Cultural Park in Thu Duc City, and Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11.

The department also plans to hold other culture and sports activities, such as exhibitions and art performances, on the occasion.

The activities are expected to entertain local residents and tourists during this important national event while honouring Vietnam’s revolutionary tradition.
