At the exhibition area showcasing journalism and publishing achievements, city leaders reviewed displays featuring publications from press agencies across the city.
Under the theme “Journalism and Publishing Accompany the City’s Development”, the event serves as a major political and cultural activity in support of the Congress. It aims to introduce and honour the outstanding achievements of central and municipal press agencies and publishing houses, highlighting their role in accompanying the Party Committee, authorities, and citizens of Ho Chi Minh City in building and developing the city.

According to the organisers, numerous central and city-based press agencies have released special publications celebrating the Congress, reflecting a vibrant spirit of emulation, determination for innovation, and confidence in the upcoming First Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The journalism–publishing exhibition space is designed as a tribute to knowledge and creativity. It features more than 300 books, press publications, images, and archival materials, vividly portraying the dynamic and innovative journey of Vietnamese journalism and publishing in the digital transformation era.
The exhibition area combines modern design with a harmonious blend of tradition and technology, offering visitors a comprehensive view of the role played by journalism and publishing in accompanying the city’s development and that of the nation.

The exhibition conveys the image of Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic, innovative, and compassionate metropolis, underscoring its pioneering role in the national digital transformation – a place where knowledge, technology, and culture converge towards a sustainable and humane future.
According to Pham Hong Son, Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, this year’s Congress will feature three exhibition spaces, taking place from October 13 to 15. These spaces are designed as a visual journey, recreating the city’s development milestones across various fields, from economy, society, and culture to science and technology.
A highlight of the exhibition is the combination of images, artefacts, and modern projection technology, creating a lively and engaging experience for visitors. The exhibition is not limited to delegates but also open to the public, allowing local residents to access information and share in the atmosphere of the event.
Following the conclusion of the official programme, interactive and experiential activities will continue at the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy, contributing to the wider dissemination of the spirit of innovation and creativity.
