Meanwhile, more than 76 km of irrigation canals and fields have been restored for localities. Homes imbued with deep military–civilian solidarity

As one of the households that received a new house on January 4, looking at her spacious new home, Le Thi Cuc from Phu Dien Trong Hamlet, Hoa Thinh Commune, Dak Lak Province, was overcome with emotion: “After the flood, our house collapsed and my family was left with nothing, not knowing where to turn. Then, with the support of the Party, the State, and officers and soldiers of Military Region 5 who came to help clear debris and build the house, like a miracle, after just one month my family was able to move into a new home. I am deeply grateful to the Party, the State, and the soldiers.”

The family of 90-year-old To Thi Sua in Chanh Hoi Hamlet, Ngo May Commune, Gia Lai Province, was assigned the construction of a new single-storey house with an area of 55 m2 and a “three-solid” structure (solid foundation, solid frame, solid roof) by Engineering Brigade 7.

Sua is a revolution contributor and lives with her daughter who has a disability. Their house collapsed completely after the floods. Cao Van Muoi, Sua’s son, emotionally recounted: “During the 15 days of house construction, regardless of sunshine or rain, the soldiers spared no effort and worked even through the night. We are extremely grateful.”

Meanwhile, Cao Thi Muoi, an ethnic Raglai resident in Dong Khanh Son Commune, Khanh Hoa Province, shared emotionally: “When we were informed by the local authorities that the Khanh Hoa Provincial Public Security would support the construction of a new house for our family, everyone was overjoyed, and many nights we could not sleep. The new house will give us more trust and motivation to overcome difficulties.”

For the couple Alang Dich in A Teep Hamlet, A Vuong Commune, Da Nang City, less than one month after December 25, 2025, when all their property was swept away by floods, the family was happily reunited in a solid new house built under the leadership of the Da Nang City Police.
