The seventh edition of the 'Suc song hang Viet' (Vitality of Vietnamese Goods) programme, themed “Kinh Bac Market Fair”, officially opened at 62 Trang Tien Street in Ha Noi’s Hoan Kiem District on June 4.

With a series of activities running until June 7, the event aims to promote and facilitate the consumption of Bac Ninh Province’s distinctive products.

The programme is jointly organised by the Agency for Domestic Market Management and Development, the Bac Ninh Department of Industry and Trade, the Hoan Kiem Ward People’s Committee, TikTok Shop, NAPAS, and Central Retail Viet Nam.

At the event venue, seasonal specialties from Bac Ninh are transported directly from production areas to Ha Noi.

On the opening morning, the early-season lychee stall attracted large numbers of visitors.

Freshly harvested lychees were delivered straight from orchards to Trang Tien Street, bringing the flavours of the new season to consumers in the capital. Before making their purchases, many shoppers stopped to learn about the growing areas, VietGAP standards, and production processes.

In addition to direct product displays, the Kinh Bac Market Fair also incorporates digital promotion activities. A key highlight is a livestream sales session scheduled from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 5 via the TikTok channel of the Agency for Domestic Market Management and Development, featuring actress Anh Dao.

Through the livestream, a wide range of Bac Ninh’s signature products will be introduced to consumers nationwide, creating additional market access channels for local cooperatives and businesses.

The Kinh Bac Market Fair will welcome visitors and shoppers until June 7. During the four-day event, consumers in Ha Noi will have the opportunity to directly access many of Bac Ninh’s representative agricultural products and regional specialties in the city centre, while local cooperatives and enterprises will benefit from an additional platform to promote and introduce their products to the market.

The combination of an in-person shopping experience and livestream sales is also a distinctive feature of the “Vitality of Vietnamese Goods” programme in its efforts to bring regional specialties closer to consumers across the country.
