The information was announced by the People’s Committee of Long Khanh City in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai Province on June 6.
Various activities will be included within the framework of the festival, including a week honouring fruit and OCOP products of Dong Nai Province with the showcase of 40 booths by farmers, business households, and enterprises in Dong Nai Province.
The nine-day festival will also feature the introduction and sale of typical local agricultural products, a seminar on promoting community tourism aligned with building Long Khanh OCOP products, a showcase of culinary arts from local fruits and agricultural products, a ceremony for durian exports to China, and more.
Several contests will take place during the festival, including a contest on designing tours to Long Khanh, a Half Marathon contest, a contest on displaying fruits and gardens, and a children’s painting contest.
Long Khanh is considered a hub of many specialty fruits of Dong Nai Province and the Southeast region. The fruit festival is an annual event to promote agricultural products and tourism services of Long Khanh City.
