At this year's event, the Vietnamese delegation will continue to raise awareness about the image, positioning and message of Vietnam Tourism to the region and the world, through organising a press conference to introduce the development situation, mechanisms and policies, products and services of Vietnam's tourism after COVID-19 pandemic; market orientation, products suitable to the new situation; highlights of the logo and title “Vietnam - Timeless Charm” and the promotional campaign named "Live fully in Vietnam".
The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF 2023) will take place with the theme “ASEAN: A Journey to Wonderful Destinations”. This is the largest annual event held alternately among ASEAN members, within the framework of ASEAN tourism cooperation.
As planned, ATF 2023 has many important activities such as The 22nd ASEAN Plus Three Tourism Ministers' Meeting; The 10th ASEAN-India Tourism Ministers Meeting; The 2nd ASEAN-Russia Ministers Meeting; The 57th ASEAN National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) Meeting; The 42nd ASEAN Plus Three NTOs Meeting; The 29th ASEAN-India Tourism Working Group Meeting; The 13th ASEAN- Russia Tourism Consultation Meeting; ASEAN Tourism Award Ceremony; Press conference of ASEAN Tourism Ministers and many side activities.
TRAVEX international tourism fair is one of the most important activities within the framework of ATF 2023, attracting the attention of international partners, businesses and visitors. The fair will be the venue for exciting activities in the tourism industry, such as exhibitions, product introductions, meetings with buyers and sellers, and seminars.
Vietnam's pavilion at the TRAVEX fair covers an area of 54 square metres. The highlight at the pavilion will be communication activities about Vietnam National Tourism Year 2023, themed “Binh Thuan – Green convergence”.
This is an opportunity for the tourism industry to promote Vietnam as an attractive destination, ready to welcome tourists back after the COVID-19 epidemic; support tourism businesses to reconnect with partners and markets, and contribute to promoting tourism recovery.
