The first Autumn Fair - 2025: Opportunity to strengthen Viet Nam-India trade cooperation

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 is a particularly important trade promotion event, not only to introduce Vietnamese products to international friends but also to attract foreign enterprises, including India, to explore opportunities for cooperation, investment and production linkage.

Implementing the general trade promotion programme, the Viet Nam Trade Office in India has organised a large-scale Indian business delegation to attend the first Autumn Fair - 2025 taking place at the Viet Nam Exposition Centre (VEC), Dong Anh, Ha Noi from October 26 to November 4, 2025. This important trade event is chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ha Noi People’s Committee, Vingroup and other ministries, branches and localities, bringing together thousands of businesses.

The Indian business delegation participating in the first Autumn Fair - 2025 in Ha Noi has been organised through 3 large Indian chambers of commerce and industry, of which the most prominent is the Viet Nam-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in 1990, with more than 200,000 members.

At the Fair, Indian businesses are displaying and introducing a variety of product groups including industrial, automation and technology transfer, food, textiles, consumer goods, cosmetics, functional foods, and new business models in the B2B direction. Not only targeting the Vietnamese market, Indian businesses also want to expand connections to other major markets such as the US and Europe.

According to Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counselor - Head of the Viet Nam Trade Office in India, the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is a particularly important trade promotion event, not only to introduce Vietnamese products to international friends but also to attract foreign businesses, including India, to explore opportunities for cooperation, investment and production linkage. The presence of a large number of Indian organisations and businesses at the Fair demonstrates India’s strategic interest in the Vietnamese market - an important gateway to ASEAN. The Viet Nam Trade Office in India will continue to accompany and support businesses of the two countries in connection activities, finding partners, as well as answering questions about trade, investment and markets.
