Data from online travel platform Agoda during the period from January 1 to June 23 showed searches from Poland surged 306%, while those from the Czech Republic and Switzerland rose 155% and 68%, respectively.

The visa exemption allows foreign tourists to stay in Viet Nam for up to 45 days, opening more opportunities for European tourists to explore the Southeast Asian country’s diverse destinations.

The most popular destinations for tourists from these three countries are Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Phu Quoc and Nha Trang.

In addition to Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, other countries on Viet Nam’s visa exemption list include Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

According to Agoda Viet Nam Director Vu Ngoc Lam, the visa exemption policy will make it easier for European tourists to explore Viet Nam’s charming beauty and experience the intersection of culture, nature and hospitality.
