As scheduled, the airline will offer an additional 140 flights from April 28 to May 4, increasing the total number of flights per day to 246, up 66% over the same period last year.
The routes to have the most additional flights added, include Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang (14 round trips per day), Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc (seven round trips per day), Hanoi – Phu Quoc (4 round trips per day) and Hanoi – Da Nang (ten round trips per day).
In addition, Vietjet will also increase the frequency of other high-demand routes, including Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi (21 round trips per day), Ho Chi Minh City – Hue (five round trips), Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh (six round trips), Ho Chi Minh City – Hai Phong (six – seven round trips), Ho Chi Minh City – Thanh Hoa (three round trips), Hanoi – Cam Ranh (five round trips) and Hanoi – Da Lat (three round trips).
The domestic routes from and to Chu Lai, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot and Pleiku will also operate additional return flights.
In order to meet the increased travel demand this summer, the Vietnam Railway Corporation has announced that it will operate eight additional train services, SE17/SE18 on the Hanoi – Da Nang route, QB1/QB2 and QB3/QB4 on the Hanoi – Dong Hoi route and NA3/NA4 on the Hanoi – Vinh route.
In addition, the Saigon Railway Transport Company will operate 31 journeys on routes connecting Saigon with Phan Thiet, Nha Trang and Tuy Hoa as well as between Hanoi and Thanh Hoa.
