In addition to areas showcasing machines, electronics products, food and beverages, this year’s fair includes a space for booths that promote investment in the industrial sector. Information about industrial zones and their preferential policies for investors are available to visitors.
According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, the annual Vietnam Expo has gradually confirmed its important role in linking Vietnamese and international economic and trade organisations, opening up opportunities to intensify investment, exports, trade exchanges and technology transfer.
Deputy Minister Hai said that his ministry proposed building a bigger national exhibition centre and upgrading infrastructure in order to better meet the demand of Vietnamese and foreign companies for increasing their co-operation.
The fair runs until April 19.
