The factory will be built on a plot of over 21.2ha with an operational period of 50 years. Once operational, it is expected to produce over 104 million stationery and household products made from paper and plastic each year.
Additionally, it will manufacture more than 2.4 million personal electronic devices, photocopiers, and shredders as well as 22.5 million rubber-based products including rubber balls, sticks, and mats.
The plant’s annual revenue is expected to be around 5 million USD.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc said the plant is a large FDI project in Hai Duong, backed by one of China’s leading enterprises. He expressed confidence that the project will contribute to the province’s future development.
On the occasion, Deli Group donated 2.5 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hai Duong, including 2 billion VND in cash and 30,000 sets of school supplies, to support the recovery efforts following the damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi).
