The An Hai Border Guard Station (under the Command of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard) coordinated with the Youth Union of O Loan Commune and Tuy An Dong Commune, together with benefactors and sponsors from the Viethope Advanced Medical Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, to organise the “March at the Borders – Affection for the Seas and Islands” Programme 2026 in O Loan and Tuy An Dong communes, Dak Lak Province.

At the event, the organising committee distributed 500 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND (19 USD), with a total value of 250 million VND (9,500 USD), to disadvantaged fishing households and underprivileged students striving to overcome hardship in the two communes. Each package included rice, cooking oil, seasoning powder and other essential necessities.

The programme was held to respond to the activities of “Youth Month” and “March at the Borders” 2026, reflecting the attention and solidarity of the Border Guard forces, organisations and individuals towards people living in coastal border regions.

These practical gifts help support and share difficulties with local residents, while encouraging them to continue venturing offshore, maintaining their livelihoods at sea, and participating in safeguarding sovereignty and security in maritime border areas.
