Speaking at the event, Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities mentioned the difficulties in implementing digital transformation.
He affirmed that for successful digital transformation, it is necessary for all officers and employees of the CEMA to join hands with determination and readiness for transformation.
Emphasising the importance of communicating, connecting and synchronising data with ministries, branches and localities, Hau A Lenh suggested that agencies, enterprises and related units must take these factors into account in the process of consultation, organisation and implementation, ensuring linkage not only within the CEMA and the sector, but also with other sectors.
The Minister-Chairman of Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs expressed his wish to continue receiving support from the Ministry of Information and Communications and technology corporations to help the CEMA determine directions and solutions for rational and effective digital transformation in the coming time.

The launch ceremony for the online public service portal (phase 1) of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs took place within the framework of the event.
Using online public services helps to reduce the travel time and costs in submitting documents and receiving results from organisations and individuals, while ensuring publicity and transparency in administrative procedures and results of handling administrative procedures.
The online public service portal of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs is currently under construction. It is expected to be completed in November 2022, fully connecting with the national public service portal and national databases on population.
