The province has maintained a robust economic growth rate, with its economy continuing to shift strongly towards industry and services. The investment and business environment has seen steady improvement, attracting a growing number of large-scale, high-impact projects that have made a meaningful contribution to the province’s socio-economic development.
Although it accounts for only 0.6% of the country’s area and just over 1% of the national population, in 2024, Ba Ria – Vung Tau ranked 6th nationwide in economic scale, 4th in state budget revenue, and 5th in foreign direct investment attraction.
These figures reflect the province’s remarkable efforts and contributions to the development of both the Southeast region and the entire country. The province must continue striving, with appropriate measures to overcome existing limitations, to achieve even greater results.
This year’s conference serves as a platform for government agencies, diplomatic missions, business support organisations, and investors to meet, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights, paving the way for more high-quality, large-scale projects and the creation of new products and services.
