The space is implemented by the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology and the Vietnam Innovation Network in the Republic of Korea (VINK).
The Da Nang-Seoul innovation space is designed to bring Da Nang’s innovation startups to the RoK through training programmes by the Overall Assistance for Start-up Immigration System of the RoK Ministry of Justice and the Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs DCAMP.
In this space, VINK will assist with legal procedures for migration and business in the country, as well as connect with Korean investment funds and enterprises.
The space is also a place for Korean companies and investment funds to access information about Da Nang’s startups.
The VINK is one of Vietnam’s eight overseas innovation networks under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, with members including Vietnamese scientists, experts and entrepreneurs living in the RoK.
According to VINK Chairman Nguyen Quang Phuoc, in about one month, the network will lead a Korean association delegation of a Korean association comprising more than 1,000 companies in AI to Da Nang to hold a workshop on the field, which will be a great opportunity for cooperation between the two sides.
