Nearly 50 works by 25 RoK calligraphers will be on show, highlighting the content and the spirit imbued in Uncle Ho’s poems while showing the artists’ respect and admiration of the great President.
The exhibition will then travel to Ho Chi Minh City in mid December and to Phu Tho province in March 2013. The event has toured nine cities in the RoK since 2009 and was organised in four major cities in Vietnam including Hanoi, Vinh, Hue and Ho Chi Minh cities during 2010, marking President Ho Chi Minh’s 120th birthday.
The event, co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the RoK-Vietnam Fine Arts Exchange Association, aims to mark the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Friendship Year and the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
