About 160 domestic and foreign businesses and 20 provinces and cities of Vietnam are showcasing products and models to experience at the event.

The three-day festival features hundreds of booths, a food court on Le Loi Street, a seminar on ginseng, aromas and medicinal herbs, and cultural and artistic exchange programmes.

In particular, a space recreating the unique images of K5 Kon Tum Ngoc Linh ginseng forest is set up at the festival to help visitors admire the majestic and wild beauty of the forest and learn more about Vietnam’s precious and rare ginseng plants, as well as the process of protecting and developing this medicinal herb.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said that the festival is an opportunity for localities and businesses to exchange ideas and promote ginseng, aromatic products, and medicinal herbs, contributing to boosting trade, investment, and tourism, to both domestic people and international friends.

The event is also expected to enhance the value and image of Vietnamese ginseng to the world, especially Vietnam’s national treasure - Ngoc Linh ginseng.
