Formed in 2015, the name of the band, BE-RY-WA-M, is composed of the first letters of each member: Beatness - BE, Rythmind - RY, Wawad - WA and MB14 - M.
Even before their victory in the the French beatbox championship team category in 2016, Berywam were popular on the internet due to their beatbox covers that they posted on various social medias.
The band has successfully participated in many prestigious musical festivals in Europe and Berrywam will represent France to compete in the 2018 Beatbox Battle World Championship scheduled in Berlin, Germany, this August.
At the Hanoi concert, that will open at 8 pm tonight at Ly Thai To Statue Square, the crew will deliver unique performances by recreating everything from classical to contemporary music pieces using only their voices and mouths.
The concert is part of the activities being held under the framework of the Europe Village 2018 program in Hanoi, an annual event hosted by the European Union (EU) Delegation to Vietnam, the 18 embassies of the EU member states, and the European cultural institutes.
