The event is organised by Voyage Group in collaboration with the Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association and 5G Multimedia, under the auspices of the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Vietnam Records Organisation.
According to Le Tran Dac Ngoc, the founder and chairman of GSFW, the event is not only a professional platform for young talents but also a landmark in the development of fashion education, opening a new chapter in connecting schools, designers, and the global fashion market
It is the first fashion week entirely dedicated to educational institutions, where fashion students become the central figures in creative activities.
Themed ‘Sustainable Fashion’, GSFW 2025 will highlight technical design skills and conveying strong messages about environmental responsibility, recycling culture, and technology application in modern fashion.
The event will feature 150 talented young designers from over 30 universities and fashion institutes worldwide. Prominent Vietnamese institutions include the National University of Art Education, Hanoi Open University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and Hanoi University of Industry.
Each young designer will showcase collections reflecting their personal style and innovative thinking while embodying the pioneering views of Gen Z on fashion.
The event will include 999 beauty queens and kings from around the world as global ambassadors. They will not only spread meaningful messages but also model the outstanding collections of young designers on the catwalk.
GSFW 2025 also introduces an exhibition showcasing collections from training institutions worldwide, the launch of the GSFW - Lighting Talents scholarship fund, the My Team Is The Leader contest, as well as seminars and workshops for designers.
