Liem Chinh Bridge spans the Chau River, connecting Lam Ha Ward and Liem Chinh Ward in Phu Ly City. The bridge and its approach roads have a total length of 714 metres. The bridge itself 194.6 meters long, consisting of six lanes, with a total width of 20.5 metres.
With strong determination from the Phu Ly City People's Committee and contractors, the 270-billion-VND project was completed more than five months ahead of schedule, after just over one year of construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh applauded the determination, responsiveness, creativity, and working progress of the party committee and authorities of Ha Nam Province, as well as the project management board, contractors, and workers involved in the construction, and especially the support from local residents along the project route.
He requested Ha Nam Province and Phu Ly City to maintain and protect the project components to ensure sustainable and effective use.
The completion of Liem Chinh Bridge not only plays an important role in urban infrastructure but also enables more effective exploitation of the 68-metre-wide road which is designed as a vital connection corridor linking the provinces of Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh.
