In her opening remarks, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Kieu Oanh, stated that protecting consumer rights is an important, ongoing, and long-term task requiring the attention of the entire political system and society.

In recent times, Ha Noi has intensified efforts to protect consumer rights, contributing to positive changes in awareness and compliance with the law by organisations and individuals in safe and civilised production, business, and consumption activities.

To ensure the comprehensive and effective implementation of consumer protection, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade has requested that relevant departments, agencies, commune-level People’s Committees, and related units strengthen state management and disseminate laws in this field; enhance inspection and supervision, especially of online business activities; guide consumers in identifying genuine and counterfeit goods; and promptly address complaints and suggestions.

Within the framework of the launching ceremony, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade and businesses signed a memorandum of understanding on promoting consumer protection.

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with Aeon Mall Ha Dong, is implementing many attractive promotional programmes with discounts of up to 50%, running from March 12-25, 2026, for customers shopping at the Mall.
