Ho Chi Minh City honoured with outstanding tourism marketing award

Ho Chi Minh City has been named as an Outstanding City in the Tourism Marketing category at the TPO BEST Awards Ceremony, held within the framework of the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organisation for Asia Pacific Cities (TPO), for its campaign “Find Your Vibes”.

The TPO General Assembly presented the TPO Awards to member cities for their efforts and achievements in 2024, including the Tourism Marketing Award, the Tourism Innovation Award, the Sustainable Tourism Award, and the Leadership Award.

The Tourism Marketing Award recognises innovative and sustainable tourism policies, as well as efforts to enhance the destination brand value of member cities.

This accolade is testament to the success of a professionally executed marketing campaign showcasing the city’s unique identity on an international scale.

The “Find Your Vibes” campaign has been hailed as a bold and creative marketing initiative, successfully capturing the dual identity of Ho Chi Minh City, a city steeped in cultural heritage and at the same time a dynamic modern metropolis.

The campaign has generated a tangible impact, gaining recognition from the international tourism community. Its core strength lies in creative storytelling, global outreach, and effective strategic partnerships.

Receiving this award not only acknowledges Ho Chi Minh City’s efforts in pursuing sustainable tourism development but also reaffirms its position as an attractive destination on the global tourism map.

Other cities also recognised in this category include Taiping (Malaysia) with the Taiping 150th Anniversary Campaign, and Taichung (China) with the 2024 Lantern Festival.

The TPO BEST Awards were established to recognise innovative and sustainable tourism policies, as well as efforts to enhance city brand value demonstrated by each city over the past year.

Ho Chi Minh City’s “Find Your Vibes” campaign is not only an invitation for visitors to explore its streets, stories, colours and flavours, but also a call to awaken emotions, experiences and rhythms unique to every heart.
