Accordingly, the festival will take place on Le Loi Street (from Nguyen Hue to Quach Thi Trang) in Sai Gon and Ben Thanh wards; at New City Park in Binh Duong Ward; and at the Revolutionary Traditional House in Vung Tau Ward.

Held under the theme “Spring Gathering – Steadfast Steps Forward”, the Tet 2026 Book Street Festival will feature a wide range of cultural and reading activities, contributing to a vibrant festive atmosphere during the Lunar New Year.

At Le Loi Street, the festival will host exhibitions of publications, documents and images introducing Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, as well as displays marking the 50th anniversary of Sai Gon–Gia Dinh officially being named Ho Chi Minh City (1976–2026). Other exhibitions will highlight the city’s economic, cultural and political achievements, promote resolutions of the first Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term, and commemorate the 80th anniversary of Viet Nam’s first General Election to the National Assembly.

The venue will also feature a Spring Press Exhibition, displays of award-winning books, international cultural spaces presented by foreign consulates, and a large book fair offering diverse genres, including literature, history, children’s books, foreign-language titles, Tet publications, start-up titles, digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

A series of interactive activities will be organised, such as author talks, exchanges with reading culture ambassadors, workshops, children’s play areas, open reading spaces, audiobook and e-book experiences, and book-themed cafe and tea areas.

Similar activities will be held at New City Park, while the Vung Tau venue will additionally focus on exhibitions related to maritime economic achievements and external communications on seas and islands.

Construction of the festival spaces will take place from February 3 to 14, 2026. The Tet Book Street Festival is scheduled to run for eight days, from February 15 until February 22, 2026.
