The event was co-organised by the city Department of Culture and Sports, the Viet Nam Publishers Association and a number of other units.

Following a pilot programme first held in late November 2025, this edition aims to expand the reading-culture model and gradually shape a night-time cultural space serving residents and visitors.

The three-day festival offers the public a wide range of cultural activities, including creative and hands-on workshops; exchange sessions and cultural-artistic talks; and acoustic music nights featuring many young bands.

In addition, the festival features booths introducing coffee, tea, Vietnamese folk cakes, books, pop-up libraries, architecture and design, folk games, calligraphy, and craft experience activities — offering the public a multi-sensory journey of discovery into Vietnamese culture.
