Photo Exhibition ‘Vietnam: The Real War’

The exhibition features 50 images taken from the Associated Press’s group of extraordinary photojournalists.

From Malcolm Browne’s evocative photograph of an elderly Buddhist monk, who voluntarily set ablaze to himself in a protest against the South Vietnamese government, to Nick Ut’s famous picture of a 9-year-old girl running away scorched and naked from a napalm attack, the selected images capture the drama and tragedy of people caught in war.

Works from other AP photographers displayed in the exhibit include Horst Faas and Henri Huet.

Exhibition ‘Concept Context Contestation Hanoi’: Art and the Collective in Southeast Asia
