The event, part of the ‘Visit Korea Year 2023-2024’ programme, is expected to facilitate the creation of new tourism products and foster exchanges and links between businesses and travel agencies of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The programme provided information on developing Korean tourism products, regarding various topics, such as destinations in famous Korean movies, sports tourism, and tourism in combination with 100 unique RoK festivals in 2024. In addition, KTO also introduced special support policies to promote the diversity of Korean tourism products in the Vietnamese market.

“Vietnam ranks fifth in the world and first in Southeast Asia in the number of tourists visiting RoK in 2023. Through the event, we want to open up more extensive cooperation opportunities for businesses from both sides, thereby creating more new products and diversifying choices for tourists who wish to travel to the RoK in the future,” said Lee Hak Ju, KTO Deputy Director General.

Following the Korea Tourism Night 2024, the Korea Travel Festa 2024 will be held at the K-Town, Grand World, Ocean City on May 25 and 26.

More than 40 booths of many units from Vietnam and RoK will feature unique and diverse activities, bringing interesting experiences to visitors.
