Notable works featured in the exhibition include “Blue Dragon, White Tiger”, “Double Mallards” and “Longevity”.

On the opening day of the exhibition, visitors had a chance to watch artisan Lee Jung Hee demonstrate a number of traditional Korean embroidery techniques.

Lee began her career when she was seventeen. Despite being a person with disabilities, she has made great efforts to pursue embroidery over the past 30 years and has become a key figure in preserving traditional Korean culture.

She has won many accolades that honour craftsmanship and people with disabilities, while her products have been displayed at more than 50 handicraft exhibitions and contests for artisans.

The Korean Cultural Centre expects that the exhibition will offer Vietnamese visitors a new vivid angle of the Korean people’s spiritual life which has been preserved from ancient times till today.
