Covering 13,650 sq.m at the Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park, the plant has a total investment of 20 million USD.
Exquisite Power Vietnam Co., Ltd received its investment certificate in July 2023 and completed the project within 18 months, including construction, installation, and operational safety preparations.
Vincent, CEO of Exquisite Power Vietnam, stated that the decision to establish the factory in Vietnam was made based on Highpower Technology Group's confidence in the local market’s potential and its regional business expansion prospects.
He also emphasised the company’s commitment to international social responsibility, sustainable development, and adherence to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
At the inauguration, Le Trung Kien, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, stressed that the project aims to meet the growing demand for batteries globally and domestically, contributing to economic restructuring, job creation, and improving local livelihoods.
It also illustrates the sound partnership between Vietnam and China, particularly when the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic ties in 2025, he stated.
