A press conference announcing the event series of World Tea Fest 2025 took place at Tea Resort Prenn in Lam Dong Province on November 10. This is the largest tea festival ever held in Viet Nam, co-organised by the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company (Ladotea), Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank), the Doi Dep brand, and the Miss Cosmo organisation.
World Tea Fest 2025 will run from November 11 to December 7, featuring a series of prominent events, including a Tea Gallery — an exhibition space integrating technology and Vietnamese as well as global tea culture; Tea Connect — a diplomatic tea event with the participation of 60 ambassadors; Tea Expo — an international tea fair and exhibition; Tea Summit — a high-level conference on tea industry development strategies; Tea Carnival — a street and cultural festival celebrating tea; Tea Fest — a grand music and fashion show featuring 80 Miss Cosmo contestants wearing ao dai; Tea Travel — an experiential tour of tea-growing ecosystems; and Tea Talk — an interactive forum inspiring cultural and entrepreneurial spirit among university students.
Notably, several new records are expected to be established at World Tea Fest 2025, such as a mass tea-brewing performance by 1,111 tea artisans, the unveiling of a tea factory preserved in its original form for over 100 years, record participation from beauty queens representing dozens of countries, and the display of around 1,000 ancient tea trees at the festival.
At the press conference, Mori Kazuki, General Director of Ladotea and co-organiser of World Tea Fest 2025, noted that Ladotea has been closely associated with Lam Dong’s tea industry for nearly 100 years and has witnessed the evolution of Vietnamese tea, from mist-covered highland plantations to its emergence on the international stage. Blessed with fertile soil and a harmonious blend of people and nature, Lam Dong has nurtured diverse tea varieties such as black tea, oolong, and green tea throughout its history. It truly deserves its reputation as the “paradise of tea”, where the traditions and culture of tea are preserved and continue to flourish.
World Tea Fest 2025 marks a strategic step in positioning the Vietnamese tea brand, reaffirming Lam Dong’s role and vision of becoming the cultural tea hub of Asia, while spreading the core value of ‘Vietnamese Tea – Vietnamese Soul’.
