During the trip, travel agencies learned about the services, tours and travel routes at the UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as the services and destinations in Quang Binh’s capital city of Dong Hoi.
According to Hoang Minh Thang, director of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang Tourism Centre, tourism activities in Quang Binh are beginning to rebound following the two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
To meet the needs of visitors in the new period, the centre has opened new check-in points at tourism sites and launched many new products such as escalator to Tien Son Cave, kayaking from the Son River into the mouth of Phong Nha Cave and overnight camping in Phong Nha Cave.
Through the fam trip, the centre hopes to provide travel agencies with first-hand experience of the new and exciting tourism products of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
The centre also seeks to receive feedback from its partners so as to enhance the quality of its product and service offerings to visitors to Quang Binh.
