Developed by a group of young lecturers from the PTIT’s Innovation and Startup Centre, the first trial version of the P-Coin Green Credit System is a pioneering step in applying technology in practice for a modern and sustainable educational environment.

The P-Coin Green Credit System merges blockchain technology with campus-based activities that promote eco-friendly lifestyles.

Designed as an internal digital credit framework, P-Coin converts positive environmental actions—such as cycling, litter collection, tree planting, and voluntary blood donation—into reward points.

Users can engage with applications within the ecosystem, linking digital interactions to real-world behaviours.

Notably, P-Coin holds internal value only: it is not convertible to real currency, nor is it intended for trade or speculation, in full compliance with Vietnamese regulations.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Associate Professor Dr Tran Quang Anh, PTIT Deputy Director, highly praised the efforts of the young lecturers in developing the system.

He emphasised that these young academics and scientists are bringing academic ideas out of the laboratory and into everyday life - turning science from theory into a practical tool for building a better future.
