Delegates at the event discussed Vietnam’s open policy, new tourism products of Da Nang, and methods to implement bilateral cooperation agreements on tourism.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Ambassador of Vietnam to Japan Nguyen Duc Minh highly appreciated the concerted efforts made by functional agencies of the two countries in organising the programme in order to promote bilateral cooperation and mutual development.
According to Director of the Da Nang City Tourism Department Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Japan is one of the top five international tourist markets for Da Nang.
The city welcomed more than 183,000 Japanese visitors in 2019, up 198.9% against 2015, 127,000 of whom arrived via Da Nang International Airport.
For his part, Mayor of Kisarazu City Yoshikuni Watanabe affirmed that the city wants to nurture and deepen bilateral relations with Da Nang City.
