Held by the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province, the event aims to promote the image of Tay Ninh to Hanoi’s people, as well as visitors at home and abroad. It is also expected to attract investment and boost tourism in the southern province.

The opening ceremony will be held on the evening of October 7, with a unique art performance. From 8am to 10pm on October 7 and 8, public art programmes will be organised, including intangible cultural heritages, such as Don ca tai tu (Southern instrumental music and singing), Chhay-dam drum dance and Cham dance.

Visitors can also participate in traditional singing and dances by artists from Tay Ninh and enjoy Tay Ninh’s specialities and agricultural products.

More than 30 booths will be installed to showcase typical and famous products of Tay Ninh, such as banh trang (rice paper), salt, tea, sugar, honey, nests, and others.

Nearly 100 photos will also be exhibited during the event, depicting the beauty of the land and people of Tay Ninh, as well as the achievements of the province.

“We hope that after the event, Tay Ninh will continue to receive investment from large and prestigious enterprises, to turn the province into a new growth hub in the Southern region and to reach further achievements,” said Tran Anh Minh, Director of Tay Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
