Traditional Vietnamese activities will take place on the second day of Tet, including a water puppetry performance, chess and human chess competitions, as well as a dragon dance at Thai Mieu and Thai Hoc on the temple grounds.
The annual ‘street of calligraphers’ will be set up on the sidewalk along the temple walls and this year, the centre will also be selling calligraphy to visitors and calligraphers will be demonstrating their skills at the Thai Hoc ground.
The centre will be fully staffed during the entire Tet holiday to serve tourists visiting this historic Hanoi icon.
