Lieutenant General Hoang Khanh Hung, President of the Viet Nam Martyrs’ Families Support Association, reviewed the association’s 15-year journey.

On behalf of the association, Lieutenant General Hoang Khanh Hung expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, and the Viet Nam Veterans Association, as well as other ministries, agencies, localities, enterprises, benefactors, and people across the country for their companionship in upholding the moral tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source.”

With 15 years of practical operation, the association affirmed its determination to intensify activities of gratitude, with the aim of bringing martyrs’ remains home to the Motherland and reducing the number of anonymous graves. This is also a meaningful action in the lead-up to the 80th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 –July 27, 2027), reporting to the martyrs and heroes that the Fatherland will never forget the sacrifice of previous generations.

On the occasion, the organising committee also presented the medal “For the Cause of Commemorating Martyrs” to leaders of ministries and sectors, as well as outstanding officials and members of the association.

At the ceremony, many enterprises and benefactors also announced donations worth hundreds of millions of dong to continue accompanying the Viet Nam Martyrs’ Families Support Association in its gratitude activities in the coming time.
