In Khanh Hoa, VKBIA and the provincial People's Committee co-hosted a conference to promote trade, investment, and tourism. The event drew the participation of provincial leaders, VKBIA President Dr Tran Hai Linh, Gyeonggi Assembly member Jung Dong Hyeok, and nearly 200 Vietnamese and RoK enterprises.

Dr Tran Hai Linh expressed admiration for Khanh Hoa’s socio-economic potential and reaffirmed VKBIA’s commitment to connecting RoK investors with the province. He called for local support in improving investment policies, simplifying administrative procedures, and enhancing logistics and digital infrastructure. He also recommended vocational and Korean language training to align with investor needs.

Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa People's Committee Le Huu Hoang thanked VKBIA for its continued support in advancing Viet Nam-RoK ties, particularly in trade and tourism. He shared development plans to attract RoK investment in high-tech zones, IT, AI, renewable energy, seaports, and sustainable tourism, while focusing on developing a skilled workforce.

During the visit, VKBIA signed MoUs with the Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association and Thai Binh Duong University to promote trade and human resource training.

Earlier, from June 5 to 7, the delegation also worked with Lam Dong authorities to strengthen economic and tourism cooperation. A cultural-tourism forum led to five signed MoUs focused on joint development.

Reflecting on the trip, Dr Tran Hai Linh highlighted VKBIA’s six-year journey fostering stronger bilateral ties and affirmed its ongoing mission as a strategic bridge between Viet Nam and RoK.
