The four-day event, taking place at the Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre, has attracted the participation of businesses from 10 countries and territories, including China, Taiwan (China), India, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Thailand and Vietnam, with nearly 200 pavilions on an area of 12,500 square metres.
The four Vietnamese participants are the companies who have made successful steps in accessing the Singaporean market and are seeking to promote their brands and expand their presence in the Asia-Pacific market through consumer food exhibitions.
Particularly, alongside the Vietnamese firms with APFE participation tradition, this year’s event sees the debut of organic milk and drinks from Vietnam’s dairy giant Vinamilk. In addition, Learth, a newly established start-up in Vietnam, has brought nutritious drinks, antioxidant herbal tea and fruit jelly made from typical fruits of Vietnam to the Singaporean market. At the opening ceremony, Learth received the “Innovative Food Products 2019” award from the Singapore Food Manufacturers Association.

APFE is an annual food exhibition held in Singapore to help businesses reach customers and enable Vietnamese businesses to directly research the market, assess and identify market trends and tastes, and explore consumer feedback from which to plan their product strategies, renovate models, improve product quality, as well as adjust product selling prices to develop their brands internationally.
The 2019 APFE is expected to attract about 400,000 visitors.
