According to the survey, 69.25% of Vietnamese visitors considered foreign travel as a hobby and regular activity. 56.88% of Vietnamese visitors said they need a trip after the long period of lockdown.

In addition, data measuring Vietnamese people's enthusiasm to return to travel through the Vietnam Travel Tracker model, conducted by Outbox, has shown that the level of anxiety about the safety of the destination has decreased gradually.

The survey results show that, as soon as tourism activities are reopened, Vietnamese tourists especially prefer three destinations in Asia, namely Singapore, the Republic of Korea and Thailand.

In general, Asian destinations have always been the favourite places for Vietnamese tourists, due to many favourable conditions, such as simpler visa procedures, more affordable prices and convenient transportation.
