Themed ‘Vietnamese youths proud and confident in following the Party’, the month-long event aims to inspire young people to take pride in the nation's glorious revolutionary history, reinforce their trust in the Party, take action for the community, and make further contributions to national construction.
Speaking at the launch, Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, shared that the theme emphasises the importance of youths in upholding the nation's revolutionary traditions and encourages young people to be proud of their heritage and confident in the Party's leadership.
He called on youth union members to promote the use of digital platforms and artificial intelligence to enhance its activities and engage youths in national digital transformation efforts.
He said that activities held under the Youth Month 2025 will focus on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, supporting the construction of 3,000 km of highways, and increasing social responsibility among youths.
In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasised that youths play a leading role in societal activities.
He called on youth union members to be aware of their responsibilities, and to unite across different sectors to maximize their potential contributions to society and the country's prosperity.
