The remains were brought home from the three provinces of Xiengkhuang, Vientiane and Xaysomboun thanks to the efforts of the search and repatriation team of the Nghe An Provincial Military High Command during the 2025–2026 dry season.
Each set of remains repatriated stands as a vivid testament to the fighting solidarity and steadfast international camaraderie between the Vietnamese and Lao peoples, while affirming Viet Nam’s noble tradition of expressing gratitude to those who devoted their lives to the revolutionary cause.
